These Terms & Conditions apply to all sales made by Magnum Arms Practical Shooting, whether online, in person, or by any other means. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms set out below.
1. About Us
Magnum Arms Practical Shooting (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a UK Registered Firearms Dealer.
These Terms & Conditions apply to all sales, whether made online, in person, or by any other means.
2. Legal Compliance
All transactions are subject to the Firearms Act 1968 and associated regulations.
By placing an order, you confirm that:
- You are legally entitled to purchase the item
- You hold, or will hold at collection, the appropriate firearm or shotgun certificate where required
- You will comply with all legal requirements relating to possession, transfer and acquisition
We reserve the right to refuse any sale where legal compliance is not satisfied.
3. Age & Identity Verification
Firearms, shotguns, ammunition and other controlled items may only be sold to persons legally permitted to acquire them.
Proof of age, identity and certification will be required prior to completion of sale where applicable.
4. Orders & Availability
- All orders are subject to availability and acceptance
- We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion
- Product descriptions, specifications and images are provided in good faith but may vary slightly
5. Pricing
- All prices are stated in GBP (£)
- Prices may include or exclude VAT as indicated
- Prices may be amended at any time prior to order acceptance
6. Deposits & Payments for Firearms and Controlled Items
Due to legal requirements, a deposit may be taken at checkout for certain items. The remaining balance will be payable in person or prior to lawful transfer, as applicable.
Deposits:
- Secure the item and initiate processing
- Are non-refundable except where the item cannot be supplied, or the transaction cannot legally proceed through no fault of the customer
7. Transfer & Collection
Firearms and shotguns must be collected in person or transferred via a Registered Firearms Dealer in accordance with UK law.
No item will be released until:
- Any required certification has been produced and verified
- Identity checks have been completed
- All outstanding amounts due have been paid in full
8. Delivery of Non-Controlled Items
Where lawful, non-controlled items such as accessories may be dispatched by appropriate courier or postal service.
- Risk passes upon delivery
- We are not responsible for courier delays outside our control
9. Cancellations & Returns
Firearms & Controlled Items
These items are not subject to standard cancellation rights once processing has commenced, including where a deposit has been taken and the item has been reserved, prepared or transferred into the sales process.
Accessories & Distance Sales
Where the Consumer Contracts Regulations apply, you may cancel within 14 days of receipt. Returned items must be unused, in original condition and returned at the customer’s cost unless otherwise agreed.
10. Failure to Complete Purchase
If a customer fails to provide valid certification, fails to respond, or fails to complete the purchase within a reasonable timeframe, we reserve the right to:
- Cancel the transaction
- Retain any deposit to cover reasonable costs incurred
- Apply storage charges where goods remain in our possession
11. Storage of Firearms
Where firearms or shotguns are left in our possession, whether following transfer, delayed collection, repair, part-exchange, consignment or by separate arrangement, storage charges may apply in accordance with our Firearms Storage Terms & Conditions.
12. Liability
- We shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss
- Our liability is limited to the value of the goods supplied, except where the law provides otherwise
- Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability which cannot legally be excluded
13. Data Protection
Customer information is processed in accordance with UK data protection law and used only where necessary for legal compliance, transaction processing, customer service and normal business operations.
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
