Magnum Research 45-70 Biggest Finest Revolver (BFR) – UK Spec Long Barrelled Revolver

Magnum Research BFR .45-70 – UK Specification Long-Barrelled Revolver

The Magnum Research BFR — the Biggest Finest Revolver – is one of the most distinctive and capable production single-action revolvers in the world, and this dedicated UK-Specification model is manufactured specifically for the UK market.

Built in the USA by Magnum Research, the BFR is designed from the ground up as a true heavy-calibre magnum revolver rather than a conventional handgun adapted to accept larger cartridges. It is manufactured in stainless steel, uses a precision-grade barrel, and is hand-finished to the highest standards. Entirely US-made by Magnum Research and engineered specifically around powerful magnum and rifle-calibre chamberings.

.45-70 GOVERNMENT

The initial UK model is chambered in .45-70 Government, giving the revolver access to one of the most established large-bore rifle cartridges still in widespread use.

For UK shooters, the .45-70 BFR is particularly suited to Long Range Handgun target and competition shooting, including disciplines where the stability, sight radius and ballistic capability of a large-frame revolver can be exploited to make the most of this powerful cartridge at extended distances.
