Designed as a direct replacement for the factory setup, the brass guide rod offers a noticeable increase in forward weight compared to the original component. On UK long-barrelled versions, where weight is already distributed between the extended barrel and rear brace, this doesn’t radically change handling—but for shooters who prefer a more substantial, steel-like feel up front, it adds a slightly more planted and balanced character to the pistol.
